I feel good!
And it only took a week for me to recover from chemo and feel like a normal human again. Yikes I say. Yikes. But this weekend was a blast. And today I decided I didn't want to be at work, so I'm not going. I've rationalized it enough in my mind, not being sick or sick feeling and yet not going to work. Its a nice day out and it'll be awesome to enjoy a day off when I'm not sick. I added quite a bit of Batman to the comic inventory this weekend, the local comic shop had an awesome midnight sale so I picked up The Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale (the guy that did all of Issac Mendes' paintings on Heroes) and an issue of Legends of the Dark Knight drawn by Mike Mignloa (the dude that created Hellboy!). Also picked up some issues of the Creeper mini from '06. And got the regulars for this week as well. Barely missed out on picking up a copy of the Watchmen movie poster done by Dave Gibbons. I was four people too late! Talked to the store owner for a bit about Mike Turner and how he is doing (turns out he's a friend of Mike's). Just curious to see how a fellow cancer fighter was doing I suppose. And when they found that I, a regular, had cancer they have been pretty interested in how I'm doing. I love my comic shop. Hell I had so much fun there! I even flirted with the cute girl in line behind me with the Witcchblade back issues and Monsuier Bome statues.
I got a friend addicted to Hero Clix. I'm a horrible person! But oh well at least we're having a ton of fun.
I played the hell out of some Guitar Hero 3 this weekend. My friends went through and beat it on single player and co-op on Medium to unlock a bunch of the tracks. I'm still working on Hard. The game is so much fun and there are some awesome tracks. Its a game I can play even when I'm feeling a bit crappy, and it usually makes me laugh pretty good.
I still haven't found a place for my mom and sisters to live when they come out here next week. I'm kinda stressing about it, I've sent in apps just haven't heard back yet. Eeep is the correct term I think.
I'm so looking forward to November 14th. G4's Ninjafest has me all excited. I LOVE Ninja Warrior, I'm like addicted to that show. Anyone else? I'm a huge Makoto Nagano fan. That crazy fisherman is awesome.
