I went nuts again on comics last Friday. But hey I had the day off from work, what else was a lonely nerd to do? And of course the food at Red Robin was wonderful as always. Ah tradition.
A few of the comics I picked up are worth noting. Avengers: The Initiavite for example. I picked the book up not really knowing what to expect, but when I read it I was instantly hooked. This is a series I'm going to have to pick up.
Also grabbed Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness, which I'm still on the fence about. I'll wait for the series to finish before I pass judgment I think. Fallen Son: Wolverine was great, and I'll probably pick up the others with great zeal. The Omega Flight mini I'll pick up for pure nostalgia and neatness factors, but the book wasn't anything extraordinary.
I think I may soon be done with WoW, and anyone that knows me will gasp and die from severe heart trauma hearing that. But fret not, I plan to pick up Warhammer: Age of Reckoning, (or simply WAR) when it comes out to be on the front lines of an MMO for once instead of the middle or tail end. Anyone else interested? We should get together and plan this out.
A few hours ago I finished watching the first season of ROME. The second season just ended recently on HBO and I saw a part of it, which inspired me to go back and rewatch the first season. What a wonderful show. Its set my mind on fire thinking again, and in need of more Roman adventures and excitment.
Anyone know any good anime or comics I might pick up? I'm always on the lookout for more neat stuff, and I'd expect some of you might have some wonderful suggestions.
All for now!
