Theory about "myspace.com"
If modern travel and mass communication have created an atmosphere in which most people feel random, disconnected and find themselves desirous of community (something all human beings need, whether they want to admit or not), I think that popular forums like "my space" might actually be a counter to all that. Not that I believe everyone should dick around on their computers and never leave the house, but it seems that people are getting to know each other better by posting their random thoughts any time they like, which a century ago would have been shared all the time over dinner or tea, before TV and our hectic schedules became a substitute for family and genuine friendship. In other words... the technology as of late is allowing us to revert to our true nature.
Just a thought.

Thoughts are good. I don't diddle with the myspace or the livejournal...I get enough friendly communication here...
