it's hard to update when i haven't much a thought in my head other then how my daughter is doing and wife is holding up. at least footbal season has open to keep the missus occupied.
but being i'm reading a new book on lucifer i'll dip my toes into the depth of the water known as religion and bithc about that.
now i was brought up roman catholic which is just as bad as being brought up pagan these days. yeah we got a pope. but now he's german and we haven't heard hide nor hair of him since he came to power. a pope coming to power? yeah power pope john paul II showed just how much power he had. and i was very sad to see him wilt and die. but it happens to the best of us. but i will say that being brought up roman catholic helped in the sense that it allowed me to loose myself of dogma due to the distress cause by the problems it was having. i went off and research other religions and found my own path to god. and having found him and understanding him i can now freely live my life with the knowledge of what he expects of me.
see my problem with organized religion is that it is much to controling without any sense of accomplishment what so ever. you're supposed to spend too much time feeling bad about living the way you do to get on with your life. but the more and more that i read on other religions both ancient and modern i realize how much they are all alike, and how much they steal from each other. the jews stole from the countries they were slaves in, the catholics stole from the jews and the protestants made it up as they went along. each religion twisting the will of god into they're own needs. my god is better then you're god! my god can beat up your god! i'll fucking kill you, because my forgiving god says i can!

he hasn't done anything for me lately. i've had to do it all. i find it funny that religion is now condoning science. and taking away our freedoms again. is this what god has deemed right? or is this the will of men contorting the will of god yet again.
made i should start my own religion. my own little cult of boB. one of freedom and life. i'll let you do whatever you want to. it's up to you to deal with the guilt. i've found the freedom within myself. i've gone down the dark path of unknowing to find the light and free myself.
the rules are simple.
be cool. to yourself and to everyone else.
try to understand. don't judge.
stay relaxed and opened minded.
live each day as if it were your last, each action must be done with action. inaction leads to death, spirituality and physically.
know yourself. inside and out.
treat everyone equally, men, women, animals.
funny how most of those are zen konan like. most of them are well known quotes. there is a reason why they have lasted as long as they have in the minds of men. there is a reason why they will continue to survive
