there are times in a man's life when he sits back and wonders what the hell is happening in the world. my time has come, i don't know if it's because i'm going to be a dad or simply the fact that i love watch bill maher on hbo.
example at work i end up playing through mock presidental debates to keep my mind occupied as to not talk and complain to my co workers getting my ass fired. now where as most of the citizendry of this country are too wrapped up in there own concerns to give a damn i can only wonder about the future of our great nation the u.s of a.
see i have this big problem with the fevered egos in the country that think they are special. could be that i've watched fight club too many times and listen to bill hicks way too much for my own good. but after the point when Nietzsche starts making too mch sense. now i know what you're saying "but boB, why wouldn't nietzche make sense?" maybe it's because i misunderstood him at such a young age or that i tried to live a life much like he describes the ubermench. i've come to the point where i care about things more then myself. which is a very scary propisition for a leo of my ego. but i look at our country as a whole and see a festering pit of inadiquecies. and can only ask, why can't we all have health care? why can't we all have a standerized educational system that works? why can't we work efficently in all aspects of life from the art to the sciences?
the answer is easy. we can't because of the ego of others. my friends and i have said for awhile now that "we better hurry up and do it before the christian coallition comes and shits on all our fun." now i have no problem with any one persons religous views, aas long as they don't try and push them on me. and that is just what the republician party is doing. now i was brought up roman catholic, i have no preoblem with the church anymore because i have found my own faith, a damn long journey down the same road i'm sure that many others have traveled. but does it really matter?
in a country where the seperation of church and state used to be a motto, now it has become the politics of religion. an idea that i find horrid. i can't believe that a nation of people will sit around and let the country be taken over by this conservative fear mongers who rather just force their ideals onto others, ideals that they themselves can not follow. the words of the bible, my ass. these fucks have no idea what the true teaching of christ are. they only have words that they want to hear, and rules they want others to follow.
of course the democrats are doing nothing, they don't know hoiw to react to these head strong fools. i often joke with sam that i need to be in there. i have no problem pissing people off for a good cause. i want to write howard dean a letter and tell him to promote me into a political debater (for a small fee of a couple thousand dollars a year) ((40 would be great..75 would be better)) and i'll happilky stand up and yell at these fools, trying to bring light to the fog covered eyes of america. i used to start these kinds of rant with the phrase "when i'm elected tyrant..." because that is what this country needs a swift kick in the pants (front or back) to get the ball rolling. why the fuck are we more concerned with the affairs of foriegn nations then our own? 9/11? come on that was four years ago. is the problem solved no but maybe if we did try to force our beliefs down the throats of every country we wouldn't be the most hated country.
it all just pisses me off so much. fucks these fools who think they can get away with it. fuck the fools who let them get away with it and fuck everyone because everyone should get fucked at least once in their lives...

Nice city: I like it very much. Nice people: yep, not so many time to meet people. I hope I move to another country next year though. I think I don't fit here. But moving is like a wave of fresh air right now.
