Man oh man oh man. It is 54 degrees in the house.
I am sitting here with gloves and a hat on, no lie. I'll take a picture. I think am gonna freeze to death
. Anyway my weekend was pretty great. To quote Space Ghost, "Ah, let's see...ohhh, my thighs ache...Oh dear."
There is nothing like making little Baby Jesus blush (ie having sex; pertty clever, huh?) Anyway, me and Ariana, and Ron (housemate #1) and Susi (housemate #2) and Johnnie (friend since 3rd grade and current Colby-Sawyer student) and Jessimyn (also from CSC) and Jamie (one of Susi's best friends and my assissant manager/friend at Entertainment Cinemas) and Matt (her boyfriend, my classmate/friend from HIS 116 last semester) and their housemates Megaen (who used to work at the movie theater) and Mike (who I've only met one other time) and a really cute girl who i have only seen a few times w/ Jaime, Meg, and Susi, so I really don't know who she is, well we all saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre Saturday night. Hooo man, pretty creepy. R. Lee Emery was in it too, and he called someone a maggot just like in Full Metal Jacket; it was great. Sunday, I hung out in Ariana's apartment in Providence and studied for my English exam and listened to Joy Division and took a nap while she helped a friend with an art project. Then, guess who we went to see??? Give up??? Henry fuckin' Rollins!!! He was in Edward Auditorium and it only cost us $10 total and we were in the 2nd row ten feet away from him. And the show was fucking amazingly awsomely fantastic. We got to meet him after the show. I got to shake his hand (he has kinda small hands and forearms - his hands are the size of mine
) and got my Rollins In The Wry CD signed, and Ariana got her copy of the solipsist signed. It was cool, but it sucked he couldn't hang around and really talk to us. He seemed a little anxious to get out of there, but he did say he had an 8 AM flight so we couldn't really blame him. I was just happy I could see him. I would love to just hang out with him and talk about music and books and politics and philosophy and shit... I guess that's the extent of my weekend... my nose is so cold... Oh oh oh, I read The Stranger (L'Etranger) by Albert Camus tonight at work (that's the only thing I like about working at the front register at the pharmacy - i read soooo much, 'cause its usually not too busy...usually) which brings me to the fact that I must of listened to Staring At The Sea and Boys Don't Cry about a billion times, along with Belle and Sebastian's If You're Feeling Sinister and The Boy With The Arab Strap over and over again, 'cause when you're having hot makeout/spooning/sex escapades (sexcapades - hehehe
) you really don't feeling like changing the CDs... I think I'm freezing to death. I just went out side and it feels warmer out there than it does in here
. OK, I'm going to bed, where its kinda warm. Goodnight.
