What a WEEK!
Well this is all good things! Nothing sad or any of that here.
Ok last week wasn't that great still job hunting but this week i am at Chuck E. Cheese with my nephew on Tues. and i get a call from a company i interviewed for like at least 1 1/2 months ago saying that they have decided to offer me a position in there company and saying i can start ASAP. I tell the guy to give me a day (just so as not to seem desperate, even though i am).
And then yesterday i get a call from a girl that used to go to school with at the Art Institute of Dallas that i happen to run into while at school on Monday looking for a job of whom i hadnt seen it 2 years. Who by the way fits in perfect here as she has 2 tats her septum and lip pierced.
Shes curious if i want to do something after she gets out of class (shes still going cause she had just started when i was graduating) so we find this little Mediterranean place off lower greenville and have some lunch. While there i call the job offer back and accept the offer (which is actually only part time about 30hrs. a week but the pay is enough to equal what i was making before being Full Time when i was at CompUSA) Plus since its only 3 days a week i can still get a 2nd part time to help pay for the MINI (which will now be on order soon).
So after lunch we decide to hang out at her apt. and mix some drinks and watch some movies. Well after the phone call talking to the guy about the job i tell him i can start right away so he says come in Thurs. and start at 9am (first time i have woken up that early in a few months). The problem was i stayed at her place till about 2:30 then drove home (from Mesquite to Bedford) only to wake up and start a new job at 7am. I am a Production Artist for a company called R E Technologies and its a a support company for various Apt. Locater services. So i take the pictures and Floor Plans from the photographer and clean them up and load them to the website for viewing. Anyway i am pretty tired and i am working tomorrow and Monday then starting a 3 day work week. Anyway lots of exciting stuff. And to top it off we have a Bowling Meet this weekend so it will be a good end to a great week!
