Happy ST. Nicholas Day!!
I hope all you good little Catholics put out your shoes last night!
I really dont get it sometimes. I am constantly writing in my head, and now that Ive actually started posting here with some sense of frequency I even spend time thinking about what I will write next and there is honestly a load of blogposts clogging up my brainspace. I keep telling myself,
-well thats a lot of stuff for one post Ill have to break it up.
But every time I sit down at the computer and pull up SG I got no idea where to start.
Anyhoo, Its frustrating and I really wanted to get a couple posts up between the last one and my birthday, which is today and now it feels like I should say something about my birthday.
However, going back to thanksgiving. It was a great success. Got to spend four days with my new family. For all of you keeping track at home, I recently acquired two new sisters, a brother, and a brother in law. Theyre great, one of my sisters has great taste in beer so the lot of us pretty much spent the holiday getting drunk and watching Modern Family.
My cooking got some wonderful praise. For all those non-believers, the Turducken went of with no hitches and was delicious. FUCK YEAH

The new Brother Just moved to New Orleans and apparently theyre all the rage there. We decided it had to happen. What it is: a Turkey inside of which is stuffing and a duck, inside of which is cornbread stuffing and a chicken, which is wrapped in country ham and stuffed with (and this was my addition to the recipe) bacon, spicy sausage, and oysters.
Plans for next year have already been made. We intend to add a Cornish game hen inside the chicken... And eventually put it inside a goose... and that inside of a lamb... yeah, Im a genius.
The other dish that earned me accolades was my obnoxiously large peanut butter and oatmeal cookie with dark chocolate, white chocolate, and butterscotch chips, which was the size of a small coffee table.
Alright, Im gonna go get dressed now and figure out what the hell Im doing today.
Take care, loves and lads!
and here it is your moment of zen
