I just came to the realization that I hate scenesters...you know the kids that come into a scene and all of a sudden LOVE every band you have loved for years and you end up hearing shit like, "I love Less Than Jake, 'She's gonna break soon' is such a great song, 'anthem' is sooo their best album. Or " 'Where have you been' is my favorite reel big fish song" Even though that song is unlike EVERY OTHER RBF SONG! "I love punk rock, my fav bands are blink 182, sum 41 and linkin park" ...you have to be fucking kidding me. "Then I went into the skank pit(excerpt from a friend's LJ)" who the fuck calls it a "skank pit" "Man I lLOVE big d and the kids table, dave is so hot, i was in the second row...(honey, they don't have 'rows' at the clubs bands play at, usually, and i KNOW the middle east upstairs doesn't)...they played a bunch of new songs and alot of their older songs, like LAX, Can't be caught, wailing paddle, evil girl angry girl.." for those of you who don't know big d, 3 of those four are of of their latest album, hardly considered some of their "older songs" and wailing addle is a cover, not even their own song..fuckin scenesters man.
