The re-release of Audition came out on Tuesday. It was released by Lions Gate for a larger distribution in the US. The only thing that is suppose to be different [besides being remastered for better sound and picture] is that the subtitles will be written with an american audience in mind. So they will be easier to understand. I already own the first release, but I'm going to have to get the new one too...it's just such a great movie.
On the topic of movies...

Lilo and Stich 2 is coming out on video on the 30th. And Dakota Fanning will be playing Lilo. *JOY*
I loved the first one [though "Stich the movie" sucked ass]
Also, I rented Kung Fu Hustle and The Ring 2 this past week. Both were really good [that's right, I thought the ring 2 was good...deal with it] Though I must say, Kung Fu Hustle was the better movie of the two. But watching The Ring 2 was a breath of fresh air. It was nice to see an american movie. I haven't really watched one in a while. [well I watched se7en today]. But that's not saying that I think american movies are better. It was just nice to not have to read subtitles for one evening. But now it's going to be back to my Japanese movies that I love so much....these are next on my list...
* Visitor Q
* The Happiness of the Katakuris
* Gozu
* Memento Mori [Korean]
* Dead or Alive
* Suicide Club
* The Sword of Doom
* Cure
* Audition [the new Lions Gate release]

So I really liked THE RING. Is RING 2 better or worse?
