So I realized today that I hate when unqualified people edit me. At work, I have to show everything I write to my supervisor. She was an English major too, but you wouldn't know it. She changes punctuation and wording in ways I will never understand. I'm not attempting to say that I don't need someone to look over my writing or that my writing is perfect, it's not. BUT, to change sentences that sound fine and to add random punctuation is not right. One thing in particular that she just looooves to do is to combine sentences. She is the Queen of Run-ons.

Yeah, my all time favorite band is breaking up, and I one more chance to see them. Tomorrow night in DC. If you had any idea how much I'm looking forward to it, and how emotional its gonna be. Those are my boys and now they're breaking up this month. T-e-a-r-s will flow tomorrow night.
Oh well. I hope your summer is going well.
