Well. The good news is I'm still here. The gooder (you heard me!) news is that I'll be around for longer than I thought. Apparently my account doesn't expire until April. I can't figure out how that's possible, but as long as I'm not paying for it, I don't really care.
In other good news, my sister is pregnant again! Of all the things I am proud to be, there are few things that please me as much as being an aunt, so I'm obviously thrilled. Here's a picture of me and my sister at a stupid cousin's wedding, so we're both giving our best I-Don't-Really-Want-To-Be-Here smiles:
In case you were wondering (due to the complete lack of resemblance) she's actually my half sister from my dad's first marriage, and she's 14 years older than me.
In even more good news, I spent 5 days in Florida. That was pretty nice, let me tell you. Here's a picture of two lizards. They were going around the condo singing Christmas carols. That's a pretty bold move in South Palm Beach, if you ask me.
Also, here's a picture of girls with surf boards. I would call them "surfer chicks" but they never actually surfed. They just carried the boards back and forth along the beach. I might do the same, if I were on the marker. And, you know, if I were that desperate to pick up a cute surfer boy and honestly couldn't think of any better way.
Then I got to fly back home in a practically empty airplane. This is because I flew on Christmas day. You know, when everyone else was busy celebrating and opening obscene amounts of presents and, theoretically at least, celebrating Jesus. Here's a blurry picture of the airplane as people were getting ready to exit: mind you, this is BEFORE that opened the doors:
Lastly, because too much good news can really wear a girl out, I'm officially enrolled in Hunter next semester. I'm taking Drawing and Intro to Anthropology. Feel free to wish me luck - I'm probably going to need it.

I was unaware of that area code, but Pointblank mentioned it too. Any one of them would do quite nicely.
