Terrible for them but nuts...i'll do this one now.
Mainly, what I'm thankful for most is my dad's health. My dad's no spring chicken, and is in-fact 76 now. He's always had a dodgy spine; something i've most likely "inherited" from him, but he's also got a crap knee - accident in Spain when i was little, problems in the Spanish hospital, and has always struggled from there.
Given this, he's actually really lucky he's still walking, and able to drive. He's been on Morphine, Aspavs, and Christ only knows what other drugs, and in a "practice" of new drugs he was told not to drive for a week - something that is his life. He had a blood test earlier this year and the test came out that he had a low count of white cells, so thats not good and is problematic; meaning that any (no matter how small) infection could be bad; rules out a knee replacement etc.
On a better note, the other thing to be thankful for. I'm thankful for my friend Chelsey, and that she was one of the only people I asked that wanted to go to the Blackheart Burlesque show - I now know of 4 other people; people I work with - that are interested in going, so looking forward to the next UK one! Going to the show was awesome in itself, but getting to meet + hug a couple of Sg's/Hopefuls made my night, even before the show started. Meeting @lucerne was great, but having a decent chat with @august_ and @lilymai made it even better!
