Bit of a tricky one for me, as i'm rather more...sane in what i do. If i had to say anything, it'd probably be something that happened 10 years ago; today; but i guess theres got to be more back story as opposed to me just telling you what i did then (as another part of the story is rather crazy too).
I went to Download 2005 with my friend from college Chris. He drove us there, and he had his own tent, as did I, i had a 3man kinda size tent. As per usual, you go up a few days early, get used to it have a laugh etc before the fridays fun. On the friday, 2 people turned up, one skinny and one larger, with a "2" man tent, realistically a 1 man tent, so i offered the one that didnt have her own tent "permission" to stay in mine over the weekend (and that'd be how i met Siobhan). Saturday saw Black Sabbath headlining, so saw that, got back to the tent and she was already there as she wasn't interested in seeing them (BLASPHEMY!!!), we spoke for a bit, and she asked if i'd like to meet her family on the sunday (kinda a what the hell, i've only known you 2 days!)
Fast forward a month or so, we'd been chatting most nights, and we'd agreed that i'd come up to see her (3 hours ish by train). 7/7 happened (London bombings for those who don't know) and i said to Siobhan that i'd still try and come up to see her, despite what happened, semi crazy as there might have been no trains from St. Pancreas station.
So, i've headed into London, spoke to a police woman inside the train station for directions (and we both also spoke to a newspaper seller) and i did the crazy thing of walking half way across London to get to St. Pancreas. I can remember walking into a sainsburys on a kind of island, and ended up walking back up the road i went into it from, stopped and asked for directions from a few people, some of whom told me it might be closed. (it wasn't, and i had a good time). On top of everything, it was my first time on my own for long journey, and the first time i'd stayed at anyones
Like i say, i'm not exactly one for crazy actions, but thats probably the main one.
