Dear Friend,
Empathy warms my heart as milk fed doves perch within the blue shadow's of a morning's half frozen light. I will lower my eyes to meet you there in the vally of secrets. And I will greet each eyelid with a kiss. Come without warning bearing the illuminati's robe, for we shall tarry through the promiatory garden of roses and shatter the oppressive virtiol with our sight.
Yours in Infamy and arrears,
Shaun

Little ballerinas are heartbreakingly adorable. My nephew is watching me right now and he is telling me to post this guy:
He says it is for his mom. lol
Ok, you asked me a question...what was it... oh! The first book I remember reading. I'm pretty sure it was Green Eggs & Ham. But the standout books from childhood are Are You There God, It's Me Margaret and Where the Red Fern Grows. I sobbed and sobbed when I read Red Fern!! Oh my God, I thought I would just fucking die! What can I say, I've always had a flair for the dramatic.
I used to pretend I was asleep, then I would get up and open the curtains in my bedroom and read by moonlight. I also found a radio station for the blind, and I would listen to the DJs reading books. Both were excellent escapes for me; my childhood was pretty rough.
I'm doing ok, except for the whole job-hating thing! I really think it is sucking the life from me. I don't think I can handle it much longer. We are leaving for New Orleans on the 28th and I am soooo ready for it. There is a certain peace that comes from going home. The smells, the food, the family... A feeling of being rooted.
Much love, Kiki
