The last week has been full of fun holiday stuff. I've been to more parties than one could shake a stick at. If one were inclined towards doing such things. Its funny, even now in my late 20's I'm really not a good drinker. It seems to me there are thousands of ways to drink incorrectly so that things go horribly wrong. I believe I have accidentally sampled most of those ways. Luckily nothing has gone too far south this week even though I've done quite a bit of drinking. Lets review... in one week I partied with SGNY, Went to the Metropolitan Opera employee holiday party, went to the Live Animals show at the Lemon Tree (more drinking) - and made some instant new artist-type friends last night as we bar hopped around Manhattan.
photo fun!
one of the only photos I took at the sgny party that wasn't a total blur
White Christmas on Broadway has almost finished it's sleeve for the Gypsy Robe (a long standing broadway tradition) I made the one for Xanadu but I don't seem to be able to find a photo.
The Metropolitan Opera is all decked out for Christmas. Bee and I went to their employee cocktail hour this week. I even managed to sneak him backstage for a little ninja sneaky tour.
me, looking rather oddly thoughtful at the Met party.
The famous Met chandeliers
The Rockefeller tree. I visited it with a few of my uncles this week.
My Bee played a show this week with his band, Live Animals.
it was in a stereotypical jersey dive bar. Fun was had. After that we crashed at a friends house. Bee had to be carried to bed lol!
and lastly here's the makeshift pillow I threw together to keep my newly pierced ears safe while sleeping!
last night I was dressing at the Met when a cute chick from the cast started chatting me up. Within minutes we were planning a night of debauchery. Wish I had some photos of all that but ya know, sometimes you just gotta live and stop worrying about recording every damn thing.
We hit a couple of bars, including the gay bar Splash, where it was "musical monday!"
I made several new friends and may end up road tripping with them to PA next month.
Adventures!
