I Recently concluded a relationship that was quite serious, long and intense.
Is irrelevant to mention the reasons and circumstances of the end of the relationship itself but not to mention a great little detail; We were thinking to adopt a child in the medium term. Obviously those plans have dissipated - like tears in the rain, I should say - even more now that I'm readjusting to the single life.
Now i have more free time, which can mean more movies, more music, more animation and read more.
Is taking advantage of this new spare time, I found an anime; Usagi Drop (Bunny Drop in some countries) the story of a single man adopting a little girl and forcing himself to discover the rigors of parenthood - animated beautifully by the same studio that made Ghost in the Shell - ended up hitting me with the strength of a missile.
Although it is clear that much of the impact that this story has been produced in me has to do with my personal circumstances, in addition to what has been said above. it is also clear that a lot has to do with a tale beautifully treated with a really beautiful animation and really well constructed characters.
A really lovely story, treated with intelligence and taste. I highly recommend it.
