How did you come up with your SG name?
"Europa is a hint at two of my top interests: space and the ocean. Europa is one of Jupiter's moons, and one of the suspected "waterworlds" of our solar system. I like to imagine space whales swimming beneath her surface."
How did you start modeling?
"I wanted to try modeling and acting my whole life.. When I was 15 I attended a modeling agency's program where they train young prospects how to walk, pose, and network. I didn't get recruited by them at the end of the program because I didn't have the typical 'look' so I mentally gave up until I discovered SG and regained my hope - and now I'm even Pink!"
Tell us 3 interesting facts about you.
"My favorite food is soup (all kinds: ramen, chicken noodle, chili, etc), my favorite hobbies are vegetable gardening and hiking, and I want to be a marine scientist :)"
Tell us about your major in college!
"I'm studying environmental science with a focus on marine conservation because I want to help protect the ocean and its inhabitants. Climate change is causing great, irreversible damage that I'm worried we are too late to stop. But studying this topic gives me hope."
What would you like to accomplish in the next few year?
"Home ownership! It's my dream to buy a nice little house in the woods with a peaceful creek or river running nearby. Lately I've been fixated on A-frame houses, it would be a fun challenge to build one myself!"
If money was no object, what would you do all day?
"Grow food, raise animals, and explore nature."
You're a gamer! 🎮 What was your first experience gaming and what's your favorite console?
"My first video game was an ancient Mario plug and play game. It was the only thing (aside from computer games) that I had for basically my whole childhood until I was 14 when my mom bought me an Xbox 360. I admittedly didn't use it much and she wasn't happy about that lol. When I was 18 I got really big into World of Warcraft. This was during what I consider the peak of WoW, the BC and Cataclysm eras. Now I don't play anymore because it's become too difficult to manage amongst my array of other life responsibilities. Playing WoW can be like a part time job when you get really committed to it!
I prefer PC because of how adaptable it is. You get to customize the experience and tailor everything just they way you like. Plus there are infinite games available! I've built 2 custom PCs now (one for me and one for my partner) and can't wait to build more."
What was your first cosplay and what costumes are you most proud of?
"My first ever cosplay was Shigure Kosaka from the anime Kenichi many years ago. My mom actually sewed the robe for me along with a matching Kensei Ma outfit for my then-boyfriend. We wore them to the first anime convention we went to as a couple!
My pride and joy is my Elias Ainsworth (The Ancient Magus Bride) head/helmet that I made all by myself! I built the base structure, made my own copycat worbla to put on top, painted it, made horns, padded the inside, and sewed fabric for a seamless "neck" appearance."
What's your favorite part of being a SuicideGirl?
"Meeting all of the wonderful models and members! The community here is so great and wholesome."
