What inspired you to become a SuicideGirl?
"Back in the days, when I was a teenager (like 15yo or something), Scene Queens were a thing! Ladies had colorful hair, tattoos and piercing... They were everywhere, fashion shows, video clips, etc... And I heard about SuicideGirls. I'm French, and I had no chance to become a Scene Queen or whatever, BUT I could be able to be a SuicideGirl because it is international. I truly wanted to be a part of this scene, of this journey. But it took me years before I actually join SG!"
How did you come up with your SG name?
"When I started modeling around 16/17yo I didn't want to use my true name in the industry so I looked for a cute pseudo. I don't know where I found "Mandee" but "Lou" is for "Lola" my real name, because some of my friends called me Lou."
How did you hear about SuicideGirls?
"Internet! I read a lot of blog and website who talked about Scene Queens (again), there was even MySpace! And I found pictures on Google, haha."
What did you or or are you studying in college?
"I studied hairdressing! I actually have 3 degree (?) certification (?) diploma (?), I worked as an hairdresser for about 6/7 years at the same time as I worked as a model. Then I had to make a choice, and obviously I chose modeling."
What are 3 things you think everyone should know how to do?
"Speak, write, read. There's still so many people in this world who don't because they can't. And I would say drive and swim as well."
What's your confidence boosting secret weapon?
"Everything happens for a reason! And if someone else was able to do it before, I can do it as well!"
"It was in Le Bataclan in Paris, years ago! I actually joined Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless on stage during a song. It was the best thing have ever done!"
Who is your favorite designer?
"Marc Jacobs. I loved his work at Louis Vuitton and his own brand is just perfect to me."
What's your favorite lingerie brand?
"Agent Provocateur and Bordelle."
Tell us about your favorite trip or vacation.
"My trip to the USA. It was a dream come true, I stayed a month in LA , 2 weeks in NY, and I got to stay at the SG house. I had the best time of my life, even if I travelled alone. I enjoyed every seconds of my time over there, so I won't regret anything."
"Thank you so much guys for everything, I will never be able to thanks you all enough for your love and support... It means a lot to me! Take care!" - @mandeelou
