What inspired you to become a SuicideGirl?
"I was a teenager on MySpace when I stumbled upon babes like @radeo, @zui and @janedoe. I was always a cheerleader and just supported my favourite babes from a distance until @vorpal reached out and recruited me."
Do you have a favorite SG team photographer you work with regularly?
"We’re so lucky in Australia to have a number of extremely talented photographers to work with. I adore them so much and they all have their own unique style. Although, I’ve got the most vivid memories with @lizzie and @coolicio, and I feel we have awesome chemistry when working together!"
What's your favorite part of being a SuicideGirl?
"Shootfests! Being able to connect with so many amazing talents, create art, make lifelong friends and literally just relaxing and having girl time. It’s honestly unreal."
What's one assumption others make about you that you wish you could dispel.
"I find that some people may think I come across quite blunt or maybe even perceive me as snobby or uninterested, but I’m actually just really reserved and shy around people I admire/want to befriend!"
What's the BEST gift you've ever received or given?
"My best friend surprised me with Meet and Greet tickets at a festival and I got to meet Simple Plan! She got them before I even knew they were available because she knows that I grew up listening to them and they were the CD I bought with my own pocket money. So very nostalgic for me."
What do you collect?
"Taxidermy, skulls/skeletons, bugs in resin and domes, horror movies and Funko pop vinyls."
Tell us a love story.
"I met my partner on Tinder, and we spent a few days only communicating using gifs from the movie The Room! We somehow made a conversation work with it 🤣 Eventually we met up and instantly hit it off in person too."
Tell us about your pets.
"I have a pug named Kylo. He is a massive pain in the butt, super cheeky but is so loving and adorable at the same time."
Tell us about your favorite author.
"I really enjoy the works of Irvine Welsh. His novels are dark, raw and gritty. Trainspotting and Filth are my favourites!"
Tell us about a film or tv show that you think everyone should watch at least once.
"Anything with Gillian Anderson in it because she is so brilliant. The X Files, The Fall, Bleek House and Sex Education to name a few."
"Thank you to all of you who are still supporting me after all these years and during my hiatus last year. I love this site and I’m so proud to be apart of this community!" - @mila @suicidegirlsaustralia
