today i started my practicum/work experience stuff for my degree.
i'm working under a mentor teacher in a child development center with preschoolers.
today's highlights:
-a little girl talking to me about star wars & her watermelon painted toes.
-other lil runts talking about michael jackson & doing the thriller dance.
-playing with shaving cream.
i cant wait to have my own class. eeeeee.

today i experienced one of the most humbling things i've ever encountered in my life. i was fortunate enough to get tickets to the michael jackson memorial. 1.6 million people entered & i won [wtf?!] i spent the 2+ hours crying like a baby. my only regret is not bringing a digital camera. silly me, i thought that since the tickets said no cameras allowed...
