Well, what I thought was flu turned out to be tonsilitis I've still got a bit of a cough and my throat is still phlegmy, but otherwise, I can smoke again, so thats good.
Since I signed on, I've still been technically employed. I'm thinking of handing my notice in and going job hunting. I've stated to the Dept for Work & Pensions and my GP and the Geest GP that I'm capable of doing office work, but Geest wouldn't let me, because they thought I'd be a health and safety risk. Bollocks if you ask me, so as I see it, I wouldn't be doing anything illegal if I go get a job, get a start date, inform the DWP and then hand my notice in. These benefits are only going so far and I am, after over a year, getting really bored sat at home. The only daytime TV I'll miss will be the Wright Stuff, but I tend to have the sorts of debates they have on there in my local anyay, so I won't be missing that much.
In the past few weeks, I started to go out with a girl. Then she stopped ringing me. Or texting me. Or anything me. Until Friday just:
Sorry.Lifes not great at the moment and i can't face upto most things.Going through a really bad patch.Need to be by myself and sort my head out."
Still, hardly a catch, am I? 22 year old cripple who still lives at home and can't drive. But I'd have thought I deserved a better explanation than that. Oh well, one less bloody Xmas present I have to buy.
For the first time in 7 years I will not be spending NYE in Spalding. This year i'm going up for HOGMANAY! But a quiet one, though. Me, Mum, ma sis and her family, and ma brother-in-laws family.
Not got much else to say really, so I'll leave it there. Take it easy all
