Fucking internet connection timed out for some reason and I just lost the long post I'd written, so the lazy, summarized version:

I went and hung out with the friend from HS and it was awesome. We'd never hung out all that much back then, so it was kind of a pleasant surprise to find that we seemed to get along really, really well. My socially awkward, self-deprecating nature makes me wonder if she enjoyed hanging out as much as I did, but I'm hoping so, because it was probably the best night out I've had in a long time. Good booze, good company, and something I need to do way more often.
