Man, life feels like it just completely sucks right now. I don't know why. I think it's because I don't keep up with all the spiritual stuff that I want to. Especially my dream journal. I have something like 1500 dreams recorded over the course 3 years. It's crazy. I originally started it as a way to induce lucid dreaming. It hasn't quite worked out yet, though.
What is great is that once I stay with it for ahile, I remember about 10 dreams a night. I first record them in a little tape recorder, then transfer them to a note book later. This sucks sometimes because I do the tape part in the middle of the night and I get really slurry sounding, as I have just awoken. It also rocks, though, because I have some really messed up dreams, funny ones, disturbing ones, poignant ones, and I won't remember them until I listen to the tape.
I'm currently trying to research what dreams mean to other cultures. It's interesting stuff. It's always nice to get as many perspectives on something as possible. You never know what you'll find to be personally truthful.
