Despite the fact that SF is way colder than I'm used to in Tucson, I'm loving it here. Our neighborhood (the Lower Haight) had an "Art Walk" last night. Essentially, all that meant was that stores stayed open later and offered free wine, cheese, and snacks. Still, it was a good time walking around. There were a ton of musicians on the street; not just buskers, but full-on bands. The costume store next to our house had clearly rented costumes to a band playing right in front of them. The band was actually pretty good, until the landlord asked them to stop. There were groans, but everyone complied. They also had a very cute 'elf' dancing in the store's windows... dancing girls = always a good thing for bands to have.
In other, less interesting news, I finished up my semester projects, and it looks like it's a straight-A semester for me. I wrote what I thought was a fairly decent paper on using game theory to allocate limited resources amongst different groups working on a project. I'm just proud of that one; I came up with a numerical model that actually sort of worked...

Glad you're enjoying SF sounds awesome, went about 10 years ago for a few days but didn't get to see much of it.
Hope you're having a good weekend so far
So, I'll be there but you probably won't recognize me, or I won't say anything to you because I have a "shy" problem... yeah, shy...
