Exciting news: I got a call back from a fairly large, but interesting company in the Bay Area. They called while I was in a meeting last Friday, and left a message. I called back almost immediately after I left the meeting, and left a message with a specific HR person. I'm still waiting to hear back (again) from her, but it's looking up.
In the meantime, I'm starting to get rid of stuff. I have a TON of books, so anyone in the Tucson area who's interested in some books, let me know and I can email or PM you a list of what I'm getting rid of. I'm also just generally getting rid of junk right now (I don't think my "Fallout Shelter" sign is going to get much more use, sadly), so if anyone wants free stuff, tell me what you're looking for and I'll let you know if I have it. I'm going through closets right now, and am just completely amazed at how much physical stuff accumulates over 3 years or so in the same place.
EDIT: I'm Freecycling most of the stuff I'm getting rid of, but I prefer to think of posting it here at SG-cycling. HA! Seriously, though, I'd rather y'all have it than some random Freecycler, since I at least know a bit more about you folks (email address, IM, some personal names, etc).

I'm always good for new books. My library is never large enough
