Out of the woodwork again. Jesus Christ, I've been busy. Well, "busy". It's not like I'm all THAT important that I need to jet to Europe or anything.
No, I haven't been in Europe.
I know I complain about it everytime I post, but I'm sick to fucking death of this job hunt. I've been applying since February, and not a single call back. Not even a recognition, or acknowledgement of receipt. Still, I have to keep working at it, it's the only way anything will come.
Here's my plan, though. If I don't have anything by the beginning of 2010, I'm just up and moving to San Francisco. Maya's job starts in August (roughly). So, if I don't get anything by the beginning of next year, it's probably best just to move and become a local candidate. The problem? Our lease is up in July. So I have some folks I can couch-surf with for a while, but I will definitely be bored and looking to hang out for a while. In the meantime, I have a couple (2) work certification exams for the summer to study for. Hopefully this will increase my marketability (or whatever) and ultimately my paycheck.
Yes, I love engineering. No, I will not do it for free. A job is ultimately a job. I'm trying to catch up on blog posts, folks, but drop me a line and say hi. I will promise to try to respond.

SGAZ is planning a tubing trip down the Salt River on the 13th. I am planning on making that one, but this weekend might work for beers if I am feeling up to par.

Cool. I'll let you know asap. Saturday will probably work barring any random acts of real life intervening.
