I went to see Rasputina with an old friend on Tuesday. This friend had been out of town for about 5 years, so that was the first time I got to hang out with him in all that time. I'm not exactly a huge Rasputina fan, but I do find the between-songs banter pretty funny (the singer's got little routines for all her songs), and the talk about playing classical music all day preceding a cover of "Barracuda" was pretty awesome. I've never seen a crowd of normally-gloomy goths stand up and laugh and applaud so much.

In other news, I'm actually meeting with some of my fellow Tucsonans from this site for beer after work today. I'm excited; I don't normally hang out with internet friends (simply because how often do you see anyone in real life that you didn't already know).

Also, I took a group dance lesson for the first time last night (part of the lessons package). I'll rant a little behind the spoiler.
