this is a good place for an entry to go.
currently in Atlanta, Geeowjah with Lauren and Elissa. bottles slaughtered in the kitchen, empty bodies strewn everywhere. reunite, vox, abita amber, andre. it was us what done it, guv. we got very specifically drunk for a very specific purpose. scrolled down elissa's cell phone directory and called, in no particular order: JPizzle, Mike G, Morgan H, Feltner, JBar, my favorite Christi, Luno, Bailey, Prowell, the Adams, and Bob.
we were classy. dignified. respectful.
we watched the original Japanese Dark Water and The Last Unicorn, and then crowded onto a broken futon for sleepytime.
the rest of the weekend has been mostly driving around town, popping out occasionally to walk around places like Little 5 Points, browsing overpriced shirts and jackets in shops with sassy mannequins. bubble tea bubbles have the size, shape, and consistency of frog eyeballs. Pocky is overrated.
I came very, very close to peeking into somebody's private loft. the building was converted to living space from an old high school, and they left the lockers in. seemed like a neat place to live. if I rented one of the lofts there, I don't think I'd mind the odd person peeking in at me every now and again.
sushi goes well with Bonny Doon Pacific Rim Riesling. the menu at Harry & Sons suggested that explicitly. for the record, it is true.
New Zealand has a Work Holiday program. with a chunk of travelling capital squirreled away, I could apply to work at a vineyard somewhere and stay there for a year. I could tend goats.
I think we're doing Indian for lunch today.

The original Japanese Dark Water - would you recommend it for J-horror fans like me, or not? I've heard mixed things, probably due to the (apparently) shoddy remake.
