Hey all...
So with high hopes of having a strong re-start to this blog thing,.. I ran into a speed bump.
I am currently residing with my parents on the Gold Coast. And thankfully they have faster internet than my sister. Which was dial-up. ...and here comes the speed bump, the clincher if you will... they have wireless, which is on the border of the nearest tower. So we were dropping out here and there,... at times we were reconnecting 3-4 times a minute... would be looking at site, and have to refresh/reload pages frantically...
We came up with a solution though. we now have an ADSL connection. So everything is much more stable... although it's entry level. 256/64. An 18Gig limit though, which is more than the wireless... so a bonus of sorts...
Have been checking site from work on occassions... but we are stupid busy so not many if any chances to sit and write. Besides I like to sit down with a drink and do my typing...
My dad is sick with cancer for the second time which one or two of you know... Also part of the reason I am living at home. Mum is under a fair bit of stress as anyone would understand. I do have although a small concern. Mum is putting away close to two bottles of white wine best of the week. She gets on edge, and emotional, and a little hard to deal with... When morning comes, it's forgotten. Like nothing has happened... Now I'm not saying she needs AA meetings, but am wondering if anyone has had a similar situation and can offer anything up in the way of advice. She seems to be using it as a solution to how she is feeling etc,.. Which it is not. Don't want to cut her off altogether, just want her to cut back... And not sure how to approach the situation exactly. Well thta heart spill of mine makes up for my lack of writing... :S
On a lighter note... Anyone that is running firefox as there prefered browser should look at this site,... and look at helping set a World record for a bit of fun...

Oh, and one more thing that caught my attention... who likes the internet!? Well there is something supposedly on the cards for our beloved virtual world...
I enjoy reading ALL your blogs,... and will again try to contribute more often myself. Sleep well ALL
Reg's out... XO

My advice is, if she's not talking about it, make her laugh, offer her stories, give her something *else* to take her mind off it. Get to know her again.
Other than my second piece of advice is, don't let your own feelings get pushed aside by theirs. Make sure you're taken into account.
I'm really sorry to hear about you dad, I hope you're holding up okay.
love and *hugs*
