contracts will always have some form of writing or email from now on. verbal contracts with people are shit.
i just hired a model to do some topless and 3 costumes.
she showed up and "changed her mind about the costumes" kimonos and such because they are "time consuming to put on and a pain" so i tried the topless and told her they did not look very good (she looked trashed in 90% of them) and i said
"well let me see what i can do with these, if they dont work you will have to come back and shoot. and you still need to bring the costumes"
a week later i was like hey we need to reshoot, and please bring the costumes...
she now refuses to reshoot, she walked off with 500$ and i still apparently owe her 500$ more....
so im apparently out 1000, have no photos that i can use for art or anything else...
looks like this is going to be a fun ending to a year
(other than than that miss Lincoln how was the play?)
on a good note i will be posting a few new sketches soon...

tovi:
ugh sorry you had such a bad experience!
spica:
Do you really owe her anything if there's no contract? Specially if she didn't model what she was asked for?
