I have been exposed to Covid. No positive test or symptoms, just exposure. I have had the vaccine. So, now quarantine for two weeks. Better safe than sorry. I'm not too nervous, but my compromised immune system puts me at some risk. I suppose one advantage to this site is friendship with distance. I am somewhat anxious and want to talk, but I don't want to worry family or close friends. On here, I can find some solace and comfort without burdening those close to me. If that makes any sense. Oh well, time to just wait and keep my mind busy.

I'm feeling better and the test came back negative. I have no idea how frontline workers handle this shit. I had a freak out over a simple call from someone I hung out with just days ago, and they told me they just tested positive.

Sadly, the person I was exposed to, my 80 year old neighbor I help, has started losing her smell. She is vaccinated, but I'm nervous for her. She has been a family friend for 20 years. A 2nd grandmother to me.
