Here are some pictures. Ignore the cardboard and grass clipping. Cut grass makes great compost and plain, uncolored cardboard makes a great divider for layers of compost, and will breakdown into compost itself. I am slowly composting and raising the ground up to pond level. I will have good rich soil next spring. The potted plants will go in a raised flower bed next spring. Im going for a pink to red and blue to purple combo of colors. The rocks in the shallow part of the pond are for birds as they like a waist deep bath. Plus, it makes for an easy way out of the water if squirrels fall in the water. The deep part is 2 feet deep.
