It finally got below 100, and it's 11pm. It's suppose to be 90 at 4am. Seriously!?! Normally we have highs around high 70s, low 80s. We broke our record high for any day ever by 9 degrees. I know weather changes, but this is too extreme. Last winter we had weather below freezing for over a week, and no power. Last summer I spent 5 days with my valuables packed in my car because we were on fire evacuation notice. It was two weeks before I saw the sky because of all the smoke. I thought I was living on Mars, and now they say that may be our new normal. Global warming. Climate change. Whatever you call it, things are changing too fast, and we are partially responsible. I have heard the argument, "Are you saying we didn't have severe hurricanes before we burned fossil fuels?" It's not that black or white, and sarcasm doesn't achieve anything. Anyways, I'm hot and tired, and if you actually read this, well, I've said my peace.
