My best friend called me last night and she's coming home for 10 days on Thanksgiving!! I'm so psyched and happy! I haven't seen her in a long while and I miss her terribly. She's been my best friend since we met in the 5th grade. 
I've never met anyone else like her and I doubt I ever will. I've tried to make more female friends, but no one ever wants to give that kind of friendship anymore it seems. Everyone's so concerned with being seen, going to bars and getting drunk. Everyone seems to have an agenda.
I'm protesting adulthood. It's so overrated.
