New picture coming SOON! I have to grab some batteries for the digital camera after work. I have to see what you guys think of the new purple hair!
This weekend was nuts. Friday, my boyfriend and I went to the mall and window shopped. We went to a late movie and saw FearDotCom. It was an absolutely horrible movie. Visually, it was amazing, but the plot was stupid and under developed. We were sitting behind these teenie boppers and EVERY time it showed boobs the girls giggled like they were in a 'Mystery Date' commercial or something. Since there were boobs every five minutes in the movie, I was ready to pinch the little skipper bitches after two hours.
Saturday, we had appointments at Marked Flesh and Jeremy got a shitty tattoo covered, and I got my cupid from the 2002 cover of True Romance on my right upper arm. I don't know if I'll get another one below it or do a love/hate thing. The artist working on it, Eric, is SO talented. He told me he'd work on some stuff and show it to me when I came back in two weeks to get my sleeve worked on. Saturday night, my neighbor had a party. We were at the shop for about 5-6 hours so we were assed out. We had about 3-4 beers, smoked the ganja, and passed out. We were pussed.
Sunday I had class and my boyfriend picked up his kids. A good friend of mine had her 30th birthday party that night so I went, but Jeremy stayed home with the kids. We had the BEST TIME EVER! We went to a bar called Neil's and hung out for awhile, but we got bored so we went to this gay/lesbian bar called 'The Madison Flame.' It was SO much fun. We danced, sang, peed in parking lots, got in trouble with a rent-a-cop at I-hop, and went home to pass out. That's the shortened version.
Monday was spent recovering. I was SO friggin' hung over. I never got sick or anything, but I just felt tired and shitty all day (along with the pounding head). I think it might've been the shots of Orange Stoli. Hrmm.. What do you think??
The kids were so bad Monday! Kids will be kids, but listening to kids throw fits, scream, & fake injuries for attention is not exactly hang over material. It was the first time they've been that bad and Jeremy was SO frustrated. I AM happy that he decided to stop spanking them. I showed him a bunch of statistics on children who are spanked versus children who are punished other ways. I also explained how scaring, hurting, and intimidating children through punishment (which is what spanking does) *IS* abuse. When his son threw a fit and he told me he was about to spank him, I asked him to hold him instead. "What do you mean?" He asked me. I said, "Just hold him, Jeremy. Rock him, tell him you love him." This is after he was told to stand in a corner and would not obey, and put to bed for acting ugly and he kept getting in the floor to kick and scream.
Basically, holding him allowed Jeremy to have control over his son in a loving way without being intimidating, scaring his son, or hurting him. In the end, his son 'broke', and finally began to wail and cry (before it was just screaming). He wrapped his arms around Jeremy, apologized, and freely walked to the corner for five minutes like he was originally punished to do, but refused before.
It was a day of patience, that's for sure. I think Jeremy was upset and frustrated because they acted so ugly, but I just reminded him that they are KIDS. They are going to do & say horrible things for absolutely no reason!
All in all, we had an amazing weekend.. What about you guys??

That is SOOOOOO super sweet of you to offer. I was just hoping to find it cheaper than on their website, but I'm sure that the price is the same in their store. Thanks again, though - very kind of you to offer

Dude, our weekends kicked so much ass. I just...I can't even bring myself to explain with details. It's insane.
