driving to NYC tomorrow. can't fuckin wait, first off a weekend away anywhere is nice, but secondly to see my brother and celebrate his birthday.
will be bringing a close friend of his as well. he's a total farmboy, and i'm wondering how he's going to handle himself in the city. should be pretty entertaining. he's a wonderful person, and considered as close as a second brother. been there more than a few times for my family.

haven't been to the city for almost a year. seems strange now that i really think that it's been that long. i've really been stuck here for that long??
nothing is planned for the weekend. we're gonna show up, "surprise, happy birthday, what are we gonna do?" eh- my brother will be able to fill that part. definetly need to do some catching up on drinking. possibly a highlight!!
