Oh goodness!!! What a weekend!
Saturday I went with Hubby to work a bike helmet safety demo in the sports mom capital of Northern Kent County where I learned a very valuable lesson or two. Number one- if the child you are trying to fit a helmet on is fidgety assume they have autism. Otherwise when you tell them to stand still- their very pregnant and welfare addicted mother will scold you by saying- "He can't hold still. Don't you know he has autism?" Um... No I didn't bitch. I just thought it was a side affect of your venting the fumes from your meth lab into his bedroom... Lesson number two- it is completely fine to wear Alexander McQueen sequined armadillo heels (the ones that cost a couple of thousand dollars, think Lady Gaga in the "Bad Romance" video) when getting cat food and Starbucks on a Saturday morning at the local grocery store. WTF???
After the helemt deom- it was off to the hardware store to buy some photo shoot lighting and then to the "not so surprise" birthday party for my sister-in-law. Apparently she knew about the whole thing but pretended to be surprised... Not cool. Oh well. I have fun eating the food and playing with my nephew in the fire fighting training confidence course tunnels. The party was at a fire department training center. I am proud of myself for not going clausterphobic freak out and turns out I am a lot more bendy then I thought I was!
Sunday morning, Hubby and I packed my truck and we headed down to the lovely Kirin's house to finally meet in person her crazy Canadian TaoAndCoffee. What a cute and funny dude. LOVE HIM!!! After the meet and greet- we got down to business. I ended up snapping a total of 1000 plus pictures on a little over 6 hours. Boy oh boy do you all have a treat in store for you! A new TC SB set, a new Kirin set, and.... Well we'll just leave the last little grouping of pictures as a potential surprise, shall we?
I also learned that my Hubby is THE BEST photo assistant ever when it comes to pose ideas and lighting set up!
In other news- I want everyone that reads this blog to tell five friends to go look at the "Green Summer" set that stars the scriching hot Kirin, shot by your's truly and leave some love on it. We want it to get more comments so staff will pick it up and make it front page where it belongs!! Pretty please???

taoandcoffee:
It was awesome meeting you and your hubby in person, hanging out, drinking wine and getting naked in front of your camera He'll definitely make a great assistant someday
kirin:
Hubs was a great assistant! I had lots of fun. It's shocking how comfy I am getting naked for you. I'm not even hungry but I'm craving that Texas Caviar you made for me. Mmmmm yum.
