Going on vacation! 9 day road trip throughout the Canadian north...mostly BC and Yukon. It's gonna be awesome.

Well, in case it wasn't obvious, this thing I've got with Sara is officially a "relationship." Yes, I have a girlfriend. I'll be honest: I'm pretty happy about it. She's pretty much the coolest woman I've ever met, so I really hope this is going to be something long-term. But, if it doesn't, well, at least I'm enjoying it for the time being.

My date last night went super fucking awesome. I mean, obviously I don't know her very well yet, but we really clicked, and she seems to be more or less exactly the kind of woman I've been wanting to meet for a long time. We have a second date set for Saturday, so hopefully things will continue to go well.

This girl I'm going out with tomorrow has informed me that "beards are hot." This is exciting news. I think that many women are put off my the whole facial hair thing, so it's nice to be told that, sometimes, it actually improves my chances.
