Not a fun evening...
My wife tried calling her sister, like she does every day. When there was no answer, she said she was going over there to check on her. I tried to talk her out of it, thinking she went to the store or something. If she was really that worried she should have the cops check on her, but no.
When my wife got there she found her sister dead on the floor.
By far the creepiest part is I'm 4 days older than she was.

I was actually the trigger to get both of my parents to quit cold turkey from two packs a day, too... mom caught me dangerously close to working a lighter at about 18 months, and they both dropped it right then
That's a bummer you drove all the way out to meet everyone and didn't manage to, hopefully next time we'll be a bit more organized!
