I don't go to too many movies playing in theaters anymore... Today was one of the exceptions. Been waiting a long time for Harry Potter 7.1. I got turned on to the series by the woman who used to do my ex-wife's hair about 12 years ago. Back then the third book was just about to come out.
We got to the theater way early, and chose seats near the dead center. We left our coats and went down for pop and popcorn. When we got back there was a guy sitting in the row behind us. He leaned over and said , "I see you're into piercings. Are you into tattoos?" I rolled up my sleeve, and the conversation was on.
He took out his phone and showed me a picture of his backpiece. Of course I could barely see it without my bifocals, so he turned and pulled his shirt up to expose the Harry Potter based tattoo. I then explained my pirate tattoo. We went back and forth for a while exchanging stories of our ink.
The whole thing seemed like that scene from Jaws where Quint and Hooper are comparing their scars.

I enjoy discussing my ink as well! I don't want to be touched, unless asked, but talking about them is fun. I've received mostly positive feedback, so that helps. I'm sure the other guy was stoked on the exchange as well!
