People without tattoos (most of the people I know) often ask, "doesn't that hurt?" I say, "not really." Outlining feels like the sharp corner of a plastic card scratching slowly over your skin. Shading and coloring is more like a small wire brush. Once it's done, it feels like a good sunburn. Just like a sunburn, after a couple days you start to peel.
