Well lets see. I had two interviews in the same day for a single position. i was told by the guy that would be my boss's boss that my resume was 'impressive.' itd be a step back pay-wise, but if i work my ass off apparently not for long.
the book i was waiting for, "Proficient Motorcycling: The Ultimate Guild to Riding Well" by david hough came in the mail.
the estimate on my motorcycle will be ready tomorrow. unless my mechanic tells me it isnt worth fixing (and i dont think the bike is that far gone), the parts order will go out tomorrow. my parents said theyll cover half the cost of repairs. i think its my dad's doing. he had a bike when i was a kid. i think hes crazy excited that ive got one myself.
so really, no actual solid good news, but a whole lot of reason to think everything is about to fall into place.
oh yeah, coinciding with Lyxzen's set on the front page, it was actually a sunny day in portland. funny how that works out. in case i havent said it before, this a beautiful city. i can feel that, on a base level in my psyche, ive been more relaxed since i moved here. fuck the rat race in new york. being able to see that nature exists again has taken the edge off more than any drug.
hopefully more good news to follow soon. night.
