i dreamed about being able to turn into an eagle last night. i believe it had harry potter influences because i seem to remember severus snape flying around with me telling me how badly i was doing. i landed on top of the empire state building, but was somehow joined by a lot of other people (i want to call them classmates). when i wanted to change back into an eagle and fly away i had to somehow get around a corner so nobody could see me jump off the building and transform on the way down. then i soared around terrain that doesnt exist in new york. it was really cool, but odd since i havent read harry potter in a while.
if i could have one superpower, it would be to fly.
i went for a ride on sunday. its was cool, the kind of normal 35-40 mile thing i usually do. when i got back my roommate was leaving to ride to queens and take pictures. i decided to tag along. we went over the queensboro bridge, but ended up heading to greenpoint. i had never crossed the bridge or been to greenpoint before. usually my rides consist of loops of the park and flying down the west side to battery park, riding as fast as i can. greenpoint is really pretty in a desolate sort of way. and it was great to get out of manhattan.
the interview yesterday went well i think. theyre currently conducting a background check and i had to take this weird personality assessment. im procrastinating the job search because im expecting an offer to come my way pretty quickly. if one doesnt im going to really start to worry. my state unemployment benefits run out in six weeks.
i love fall. 60 degrees is perfect. wish i had some extra cash. id rent a car, throw my bike in the back, and head upstate for a couple days.
bye.
