ride yesterday was great. 55 hilly miles. started out on the usual route over the gw and out of town, but took a different road to get to nyack. nice change of scenery, and it took me right along the hudson and tapan zee. i think my legs were ok, but i know people could hear me coming up behind them i was breathing so hard. looking forwarding to taking the same ride again when the rain stops.
speaking of, i got caught in the rain today on the way back from the bike shop. rims are finally fixed for my old hybrid, and ill have it listed on craigslist tomorrow. if anyone in the city is looking for a smaller fuji hybrid let me know. after i got back i started cleaning my real bike (still no name for her, though it is a 'her"). i started taking apart my rear derailleur. now i cant seem to get the chain threaded through the damn thing correctly. feeling kinda dense at the moment.
nothing else. life isnt too exciting when you dont have a job or any money. restart the job search and try and sell a bunch of stuff this week.
night.

Me too! And I see you live in New York which means you probably share with me as well the added bonus of seeing homeless people from the living room windows and feeling weird about the fact that we're both doing about the same amount with our day, only I have sweet digs and DVR. It's a strange sensation, because it's different than the usual sort of guilt-tinged discomfort that I experience regarding homeless populations. It's just weird to stay in one place all day with a view of people also staying in one place all day. I should probably stop talking now, I'm pretty out of it. Instead of rereading what I just wrote, I'm just going to hope for the best that none of it is offensive.
