the logistics and cost of interviewing for and possibly getting a job on the west coast really hit me today. might not be possible, which is terribly disappointing.

phone interview was short and sweet. found out that they already plan to interview 6 people tomorrow and friday. ill know early next week if i need to fly out to ca. im betting no.

after thinking about it though, i probably shouldnt be anxious to leave new york. it took me two years to really settle in and love san francisco, and i moved right before i figure my life would have really become fun, a mistake im still beating myself up for. im coming up on two years in new york, and im finally starting to adjust to the city (or at least the heat; the carelessness and stupidity of people here still blows me away - i cant count the number of people i almost hit on monday on my ride because they didnt bother to look my direction before jumping in front of me). not sure why it takes me so long to get comfortable and enjoy myself.

its hot and sticky outside again. gonna make my ride later a rather nasty affair. apologies in advance to anyone i pass late in the ride.
