this weekend was a complete bust. everything i wanted to do or was going to do this weekend i either fucked up or cant.

because of the awesome muni bus system, i showed up so late to a volunteer event that i turned around right before i got there. my car was ticketed for expired tags and not having the front plate bolted to the bumper. unsuccessfully tried to jumpstart said car so i could move it. was going to get up and finally take my fully repaired bike into the city for a ride along the embarcadero and crissy field, except its all shut down because of the sf marathon. the only thing i really have left is work. im part of project that im interested in, but the only time ive had time to work on it is at home, and i work enough when im at the office.
anyway. things arent actually that bad, its just kind of annoying when so many things dont go the way you want them to. still trying to plan a vacation. its oddly difficult since ive never done it before. keep wanting to go to rome, but that may have to wait. i dont have a passport and i dont want my first international trip to be planned so haphazardly. so im thinking 5 days in hawaii instead.
