Sorry for the laxadasical approach to updatin'... the screening was eatin' all my time to rhyme.
The screenin' was Holla'rific... I was a little worried in the run-up as its a 200 seat theater and the weather did not want to cooperate w/our delusions of granduer.
BUT PEEPS REPRESENT'D... we filled it to at least 3/4 capacity despite the sleet and a mid-week screening. We got invited back to the theater which is ALWAYS a good sign.
The projection, unfortunately, was HORRID and I was sitting in the back w/my head in my hands like an afterschool speacial teen who knocked up his girlfriend... turned my stomach in KNOTS.
However, drinkin' to 3AM on a school night at my age is so... not smart.
We also got invited to another theater in LA for a Women in Film Series (as most of our main characters are women... or they like the porno aspects of the story?).
Anyholla, I'm back...

About the dog... My boyfriend found a no-kill animal re-homing organization. I now volunteer for it. She hasn't been adopted yet so we're fostering her. I'm trying to talk my boyfriend into keeping her because we got the okay from the new landlord. We showed him how sweet she was and she couldn't harm a fly (although if provoked enough by some idiot little kid, I'm sure she could tear them to pieces -- that's been happening a lot in Florida, it's all over the news every few weeks, so we're hoping no stupid little kids will live near us). However, she has major doggie separation anxiety, so she tears up EVERYTHING and scratches the door whenever I or my boyfriend leave. That's why he's kind of hesitant in keeping her. I told him I'd pay for all damages and such... but I don't know how it's going to pan out. Hopefully, if we can't keep her, she'll be adopted by a very loving family with a huge backyard.
Hm, in fact, I think I'll update my journal with this for others who are interested in how it's been going with her...
Have a wonderful day, mister!
