Killing Time at my insufferable job... under "the man's" watchful eye...

Things continue to be status quo:
- Job Sucks (to clarify, the company I work for sucks, not the work)

- Haven't found a new job

- Still running through my credit cards as if I don't actually have to pay them back (the American way to be sure... )

- Still happily single, but am prepared to be swept off my feet

- Still surfing (one of the few NYC surfers, but not as small a group as you would think)

- Still taking care of my sick gramps (sad indeed but livin' till you're 96 comes w/complications)

Although, one interesting caveat... Got suckered into the dreaded "blind-date" scenario. Mind you, not because I wanted to be victimized in such a way, more-so because it was the (and it is a bit convoluted) sister-in-law of my roomie's boss... There was no backing out (as long as my roommate wants to keep working).

Dreaded every available minute leading up to the date... but the actual experience, as uncomfortable as the build-up suggested, was not so terrible... Not going out w/her again, but glad to have had the experience (likewise, don't need to endure that again either).
