My last week of freedom is over. I stayed up all night playing around with MY NEW LAPTOP!!! took some time to get here- two weeks, and the bumb-ass delivery guy couldn't find his own zipper, not to mention my place, but its here, and I'm pleased.
I spent three and a half days at the Icon festival, got to see district nine, one eyed monster, Chemical wedding (ok, slept most of it )and met the director. played a lot of table top war games, met tons and tons of people, done something stupid with an ex, got a shower EVERY DAY
that was fun. but I had to go back home on Wednesday, because early Thursday I gott a ride to TA and a train to Haifa. got the dorms key. the room is alright, not too small and has plenty of storage space. my flat mates are all Russians, so that's going to be a bid odd, but on the bright side, a friend from Jerusalem that goes there lives in the entrance next to mine. after putting a bit of clothes in the closet and making a list of whatever I thought I will need there that isn't in the apartment already (they had a microwave oven, toaster oven, press toaster, electric kettle, fridge and gas), I met up with another friend that goes there. we went to his new dorm room, that was pretty much the same size-wise, but had AC (we got non, but since we pay electric if we do have Ac, it's not that bad. he showed me around the campus, and left to Weit for his dad to show up with a car to move his stuff to the new place. As I just received my new computer the night before, I didn't have the codac packs needed to watch thew new Sons of anarchy that I moved to the new computer. the train ride was much more boring then I planned it to be.
I wanted to download the codacs in the main study hall that had a cafeteria and wireless, so I sat down with a salad and beer for only 33 NIS (!) thats cheep. but when I try'd to connect to the wireless network, that damn thing wanted a password. apparently it was mailed to me a few week prior. never mind.
after I came back I just sat on the new machine getting it ready for school, and gone out to the new bar we have opened- met up with Schweitz for beers and Jaeger bombs. I managed home.
this Sunday we drive up with a loaded car, stuff my new room with all sorts of crap I'll need, and off I go to the academy. Thursday is orientation day, Wednesday I start my studies- a 4.5 year program for material engineering and physics. that two B.sc's
I got to meet with the guy in the students counsel who is the representative of my faculty for a short talk, and he gave me some pointers. that a good start
It's time for another GOOD idea, BAD idea
GOOD IDEA- wake up early to see the sunrise
BAD IDEA- staying up late to see the sunrise
good night (morning) SG land

it's kind of a bummer but it's just something you gotta get over with. I have half a year left if I work hard enough.
